WHAT’S WITCHLAND ABOUT?
Equal parts horror, comedy, and cautionary fable; leave your troubles behind and laugh in terror as you enter the immersive world of…Witchland.
When gay couple Jared and Van pull up stakes in Seattle, WA, and move with their daughter to the small town of Richland, WA, it’s difficult to know what’s real and what’s illusion. Is it a nagging cough or radiation poisoning? Is it small town charm or the local lore come-to-life? Is it an alcohol-induced delusion or is the neighbor next door really a sorceress of the dark arts?
Pssst!… What if we told you that elements of this story are true?
The story of Witchland is based upon the author’s experiences growing up in Richland, a small town in Eastern Washington — deemed “the most toxic place in the Western Hemisphere.” A witch, a mysterious reappearing pile of sticks, a baby graveyard, and an illness plaguing the entire town are only a few of the eerie truths revealed in this one-of-a-kind world premiere.
